Hydrotech has established a strong reputation in the UAE for delivering high-quality sewerage network installation and maintenance services. Our credibility was reinforced through a landmark contract with the Abu Dhabi Sewage Services Company (ADSSC), where Hydrotech successfully took over the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of all sewerage assets on Abu Dhabi Island in 2002. This included the complete gravity and pressurized sewer network, and the project was effectively managed over a 10-year period.
Building on this success, Hydrotech, in joint venture with the international utility leader FCC Aqualia, was awarded another major O&M contract by ADSSC in 2012, covering the Al Ain region of the UAE. Our team’s dedication to delivering results under KPI-driven performance contracts played a key role in securing ADSSC’s continued trust.
In 2019, Hydrotech once again emerged as the preferred contractor, winning two major O&M contracts in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The successful renewal of the Al Ain contract highlights the company’s strong performance and reliability.
In addition, Hydrotech has successfully renewed its Operation & Maintenance contract for managing the sewerage and wastewater treatment systems in the Eastern Zone of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for a further seven years. This region includes Al Ain, the Emirate’s second-largest city. The renewal, along with existing contracts, further strengthens the leadership of the Hydrotech–FCC Aqualia consortium, which now manages wastewater services for nearly two-thirds of Abu Dhabi’s population.
